The Media’s Race For Martyrdom

In a culture addicted to outrage it shouldn’t come as a surprise to find the media spinning themselves into a position of beloved victimhood after President Donald Trump released a tweet on Friday specifically calling out the poor reporting of five news organizations.

Behavior of Scientologists and Liberals Eerily Similar.

“Disconnection” in Scientology is described as the organization directing members to sever all ties with family members and friends who dare to criticize practices of the Church of Scientology, their dogmas, leaders, and beliefs. Labeled as “suppressive persons”, these enemies of the church are isolated from their social network, labeled in public as hateful, and when the dogmas of Scientology are rejected or criticized they’re ultimately “disconnected”. “Suppressive persons” are dehumanized, categorized as evil, hateful, destructive, and the source of history’s most catastrophic events.

The ‘thousand profound scholars’ may have failed, first, because they were scholars, secondly, because they were profound, and thirdly, because they were a thousand. – Edgar Allan Poe.

On Issue of Reported Terrorism, Trump and Media Both Correct

President Trump erupted a firestorm of debate on Monday after giving a speech to U.S. service members at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. Claiming that the American media is failing in its responsibility to accurately report on Islamic terrorism around the globe, the President said:

“All over Europe it’s happening. It’s gotten to a point where it’s not even being reported… And in many cases the very, very dishonest press doesn’t want to report it. They have their reasons, and you understand that.”

Generation Following Millennials Should Worry Democrats

On Deck, “Generation Z”, the most conservative generation in 70 years.  Born between 1995 -2010, they’re fiscally conservative, staunchly supportive of personal freedoms, and strong on national security including counter-terrorism and cyber-security, with a hint of isolationism.  They don’t fit the mold for either political party in their current form, which is probably why data suggests they support the unconventional Donald Trump over the political status quo offered by either party.

Uproar Over Trump Flag on Navy SEAL Convoy Misses Point.

The majority Americans who follow politics or have logged into social media at some time during the last week are now likely aware of the basic details surrounding the raid conducted by US Navy SEALs on Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula.  As the first mission authorized by President Trump during which American forces suffered a fatal causality, it has drawn criticism ranging from balanced and measured to typically hysteric.

A Love of Hate: The Addiction of the New American Left

“No Trump! No KKK! No Fascist USA!”.

Damning.  Morally righteous.  A call to arms against darkness.  This is how the new American left views itself and its opposition to President Donald Trump: a bulwark against a perceived tide of evil, where only leftists’ pink hats and calls to #resist stand a chance to prevent a historic cataclysm from a caricature of an administration believed to embody all the elements necessary to be categorized as evil.

Retired Air Force Colonel and Former US Senatorial Candidate Sees Pattern of Violence From Left.

Violence at UC Berkeley committed in an effort to shut down a talk given by Milo Yiannopoulos, largely orchestrated by communist groups self-identified as “Antifa”, has been rightly criticized by the President of the United States as an effort to shut down free speech and the expression of ideas.
